Lassi is a traditional Indian drink made with a yogurt base and aromatic spices which can be either sweet or savory. According to Ayurveda, lassi is the ideal lunchtime beverage to enhance digestion. It can be more effective if Ayurvedic spices are added.
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup whole milk/almond milk
- Honey to taste
- 3 green crushed cardamom seeds
- Lengthwise, slice the avocado in half. Remove the pit, peel it and roughly chop.
- To the blender add yogurt, milk, honey, crushed cardamom seeds and process to a creamy consistency. If required, you may add more honey to sweeten.
- Serve chilled.
