Causes

  • The human body naturally breaks down the chemical called purines. The byproduct is called uric acid. Purine is present in the food as well as naturally in the body. Normally the uric acid gets discrete through kidney with urine. But if the body is producing too much uric acid or if it is unable to excrete it, this acid starts gathering in the body. The acid then starts collecting in the form of sharp needle-like crystals. 
  • These sharp crystals, when gets accumulated in the joints or surrounding tissues, it causes pain, inflammation and swelling.

  • Enhance the use of garlic, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, cumin, and ginger.
  • Avoid yogurt and dairy products.
