Panchkarma Treatment-Ayurveda’s all round solution to all health problems

Panchkarma is a five step therapy unique to ayurvedic medicine. If literally translated from Sanskrit, Panchkarma means five actions or five steps for treatment. The purpose of this exercise is to free the body of toxic materials and improper doshas that are present due to bad lifestyle or disease.

Panchkarma deals with improving the body’s condition at a very basic level so that general well-being of the physical and spiritual self can be initiated. The body’s own channels of excretion are utilized to expel toxic materials and correct imbalances.

Panchkarma is not only highly beneficial but it's also a very individualized experience. Depending on the person’s doshas, immune system, age and digestive strength an expert in Ayurveda prepares a detailed plan of therapy for the individual.

Unlike modern medicine which believes in battling the symptoms of particular illnesses, panchkarma therapy represents the basic ayurvedic tenet of treatment of an illness through overall improvement of the body and mind.
